本項目坐標上海，原場地是一個長方形，入口處室外屋頂為建筑機電設備平臺。委托人由于是要做藝術留學教育機構，所以要求室內空間需要有明確的功能分區(qū)，還需要一間能夠容納50人左右的展覽空間。由此，面對復雜的外部環(huán)境，設計師最初的概念是明確室內外邊界，消隱室內各個區(qū)域之間的界限。

Because the client is to do art education institutions, so the indoor space needs to have a clear functional zoning, but also need a room to accommodate about 50 people exhibition space. Thus, in the face of a complex external environment, the designer's initial concept is to clarify the indoor and outdoor boundaries, blurring the boundaries between the various areas of the room.

設計師除卻必要的墻體外，其他外墻體全部拆除換成隔音玻璃，最大化的保證室內曹光充足，運用通透的圍擋景觀的分隔保證室內的隱秘性。入口就是前臺和形象墻，  旁邊就是以玻璃隔斷的會客區(qū)，消除人的局促感受。由玻璃圍合的通透教室，為適應展覽和講座的功能，設計營造一個環(huán)形的廊道結合景觀的體塊，在空間中形成連續(xù)的循環(huán)交通。

連通的走廊，開放的大教室引入靈活的儲藏空間，滿足展覽之時收納桌椅的功能。材料上設計師采用原先老舊的木地板及條形磚，地面則隨機保留原有地磚與混凝土相結合。由于控制造價和工期的原因，一些細節(jié)與最初的概念有少許的偏差。但是欣慰的是，空間的使用者認為設計建構的空間建立在保證多樣可能性的前提下，可以激發(fā)營造有趣的氛圍，讓人在其中產生多樣的故事。
